Six polishing methods of rotational mould

1. Fluid polishing of rotational mould

Fluid polishing is based on the high-speed flow of liquid and abrasive particles to wash the surface of the workpiece to achieve the purpose of polishing. 4. Ultrasonic polishing of rotational mould

The workpiece is put into the abrasive suspension and placed in the ultrasonic field together. Relying on the oscillation effect of ultrasonic, the abrasive is ground and polished on the surface of the workpiece. The micro force of ultrasonic machining is small and will not cause deformation of workpiece, but it is difficult to make tooling and equipment. Ultrasonic machining can be combined with chemical or electrochemical methods. On the basis of solution corrosion and electrolysis, ultrasonic vibration is applied to mix the solution to make the surface of the workpiece dissolve, the product is separated, and the corrosion or electrolyte adjacent to the surface is uniform; the cavitation effect of ultrasonic in the liquid can also inhibit the corrosion process, which is conducive to the appearance brightening.

Electropolishing of rotational mould

The basic principle of electropolishing is the same as that of chemical polishing, that is, the surface is lubricated by selectively dissolving the small protruding parts of the surface. Compared with chemical polishing, it can eliminate the influence of cathode reaction, and the effect is better. The process of electrochemical polishing is divided into two steps

(1) The results show that the dissolution products disperse into the electrolyte, and the surface roughness of the data decreases, and RA > 1 μ M.

(2) The results show that the surface brightness is improved and RA is less than 1 μ M.

Magnetic abrasive polishing of rotational plastic mould

Magnetic abrasive polishing is to use magnetic abrasive to form abrasive brush under the effect of magnetic field to grind workpiece. This method has the advantages of high efficiency, good quality, simple operation and good working conditions. The surface roughness can reach ra0.1 μ m with proper abrasive.
